This is an original M2 ammo box made in England for the U.S. Military, and used through the Vietnam War. This particular can ended up in Italy, and was re-packed God knows how many times but the last time it was 7.62mm NATO ammo as per the paper label. These can be removed, as I've done it in the past. Soak in warm soapy water and a plastic scraper. Very cool can. Lots of rust and such as you can see, and the rubber gasket is pretty shot, but it's a cool collector's piece for sure, and is structurally sound.
