I am a big fan of body armor. It's very cool, much like helmets, to see each country's spin on the basic design.
As far as flak jackets go, this one is pretty neat. I can't find much on the model number and such, but the one I used for the stock photo was made in 1999, and had a "shelf life" until 2005, so these are fairly recent vests.
These are secured via 6 velcro straps with rings, 3 on each side. Plates are not included, but the pouches may be able to accommodate other plates, as it's not a fancy-shaped compartment, but simply rectangular.
Note on Sizing: These are marked with European sizes, so they are slightly smaller than what's stamped. Example: You wear a U.S. Large, and you receive one that is marked "XL". It will fit you. These are sized in the listing to U.S. Sizes.
Some of these may have had the collars cut off, as well as the internal waist straps. This was done my soldiers it seems quite frequently, so expect those minor imperfections. These are also used, so they will be dirty and faded with potential small tears as the one in the stock photo has. They also may have writing on them. That being said, the ones I've gotten so far seem to be in what I would grade as "good" condition.
I am selling these as collectible/costume purposes only, and am not aware of their actual ballistic protection, therefore I can't guarantee anything, and they're also past their "shelf life".
THESE CAN NOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE U.S. DUE TO ITAR RESTRICTIONS
