Body armor is a fascinating subject that many people as me about. Every chance I get, I try to get armor from all over the world. This time I managed to snag some of these classics, the "IS" model. No idea what it stands for, but that's what's on the tag, so we're going to go with that.
Anyway, these are nice lightweight, decent looking vests with ballistic panels still in them. Some will need the panels installed, but that's not that difficult. Getting rather hard to find as these were used from the 1990s through the mid 2000s when they were replaced.
