How often is it that WW2 Surplus actually pops up? NOT OFTEN which is why I bought the rest of this stash OUT of their supply. For whatever reason, these weren't widely used among U.S. Conventional Troops during WW2. In the Post WW2 Years, the application of face camouflage became a more common practice with units, especially recon units, due to its effectiveness of concealment.
WW2 stocks were used up through the 1990s, which makes these harder to find than the later produced ones from the 60s-90s. Not only are these great for face camo, but are great and convenient for camouflaging equipment and weapons.
Listing is for ONE unissued tube. Manufacturers and markings will vary. Colors will also vary. Most are "light green and sand" but if you order several, you could get "light green and loam" or "loam and white" in the mix.
NOTES: These are over 70 years old, and are a bit dry. The warmer the product is, the better, so I usually take a lighter to the outside of the tube for a few seconds before use. These are also collectible and neat the way they are, so you don't have to use these. Metal tubes may have rust from storage, and the writing may be hard to read, but you will get one where the contents are not used. Pictures are stock photos, so you know the colors and the usual condition of the tube. Once these are gone, I can not get any more.
