WW1 French Metropolitan Forces 1L Canteen- Refurbished.

Here's a prized piece of my collection that I've decided to let go to another collector who will also appreciate it. These are insanely hard to find, as they were only issued to troops serving in cities where water was more accessible, thus the smaller 1L size. Soldiers at the front were issued the larger 2L "Bidon" canteens, which are more commonly seen. This one has been professionally restored and re-covered with fantastic horizon blue wool. I would not recommend drinking out of this, and this is being sold only as a high-end collectible item.
