Patterned in 1933, and used until 1990 (and some beyond), these helmets are highly collectible, comfortable, and downright great. These helmets were not only effective, but were one of the first designs to separate the wearer's skull from the shell via the bracketed liner system, which was also extremely comfortable and simple. I conducted a ballistic test on one of these on my YouTube channel a while back, and it actually performed quite well. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMany designs were directly influenced by this, such as the Soviet SSH-40, and even the U.S. M1 helmet. Bulgaria made an almost exact copy which was adopted in the 1970s, and many other nations have used these over the years, so these are actually great pieces of history. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese are all in used but serviceable condition. Expect a less-than-perfect liner (some are more used, but not blown out), and some wear\/rust\/scuffs on the shells. This batch has the yellow ring on the top like VERY early Vietnam-Era M67s did to throw some variation in your collection. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat they are: These are the typical \"paperweight\" INERT things with the holes in the bottom that are everywhere. I take the time to install the spring kits and safety clips, prime, paint, and hand stamp each one with period correct markings sourced from original examples. This process takes a fair amount of time and effort, and the stamping is, well, a lot trickier than it sounds. SO, expect the stamping to not be \"perfect\" (they weren't even then) as pictured. Expect the body itself to not have been ground\/finished that well at the factory, which is the same as all the paperweights. I keep the really bad ones for myself, so you won't get an absolutely terrible one. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat you will get: My offering of the closest I can get to an original M67 Fragmentation Paperweight. These have the spring kits installed, so the spoon will fly off when the pin and safety clip are removed.
