I managed to snag a small batch of these VERY hard to find Unissued helmets. All are in un-used condition with storage wear (scuffs and marks on the paint from jostling around with each other in transit).
The original design for the shell was introduced in 1944, but never made it into service with the Wehrmacht. In 1956, East Germans began using the shell with a WW2 style liner. In 1976, this liner style, which was cheaper and more comfortable than the previous liner, was introduced and used until the reunification in 1989.
These helmets were exported to MANY countries who used them and some still to this day. Vietnam, Serbia, Bosnia, many African countries, and other various nations are among the many.
I know I say this a lot, but my supplier said this is it for the known supply of these helmets. Usually when they say that, I am not able to get the item again, so if you want one, this is probably your last chance from me. Such is the nature of surplus.
ONLY 5 LEFT! First Come, First Serve. Good luck!
