When I found a source for actually decent M18 Stahlhelm shells, I knew I had to turn at least ONE in to a bad-ass transitional, and man did it turn out GREAT! Actual helmet is pictured. Has a VERY nice repro M31 liner in it.
These were used by the German military in every theater of operations throughout the 2nd World War. It's the equivalent of a PASGT being worn during GWOT campaigns. This is an awesome reproduction of a super hard to find helmet nowadays.
