I can't really believe I was able to get some of these, given how hard they are to find nowadays. Nevertheless, I managed to snag some, and they sold out from my supplier the next day so as of now, this is all I can get indefinitely.
These were the standard field shirt of the Bundeswehr from the 1970s through the late 1990s when Flecktarn replaced the Olive Drab shirts. After they were replaced, most of them were surplussed out and became one of the most popular clothing items in military surplus. Made of the same cotton/poly blend of their later flecktarn counterparts, but it seems to be a slightly lighter weight material. Basically you get a lot of comfort with strength as well.
Dates will vary on tags, and as these have a different sizing system than the later shirts, I will be putting the U.S Chest Size next to the German size. These are oddly sized, so for example, the size 4, which measures out to be about 43" on the chest, will fit someone who wears a large, but will fit more snugly instead of baggy, while it will be slightly loose on someone who wears a medium, or 42" chest. Please take that in to consideration when ordering.
These probably won't last long at all, so don't delay in grabbing one, or two, or three....
Condition: Most of these are used, so expect wear, superficial (tiny) tears, missing German Flag patches, or possible small stains. All this being said, most are in good shape, and I won't send you a derelict piece of junk.
