Yes, this is the real deal. No, it's not a "war trophy" I bought off Ebay with bullet holes in it. I bought this a while back before the war kicked off. I have gotten several requests for legit ones, but they were hard to find even back before everything started. This is in great shape, and although it says 55-57cm, it will fit my 59 1/2 inch melon. I have searched high and low for a nice one like this, and some people are charging over 1k in light of recent circumstances. I'd rather this goes to a serious Russian collector, or helmet collector in general, as they're basically dried up because of the war.
