Slovakian ASR 97 (VePlas) Kevlar Combat Helmet- Used

These are some of the coolest Kevlar helmets to come out of the 1990s. Very unknown to most helmet and surplus aficionados, as they have been mislabeled and not much is known about them.

Beginning service in 1997 with Slovakian military forces, this helmet style served well in to the 2000s. A perfect mix of old-world Soviet, with New World Western designs, this is a must-have for any collector of surplus.

Adjustable liner to fit most sizes. Below the description is a video made a while back ballistically testing one of these helmets.

NOTE: Please allow for variation of chin strap styles. Many of these feature field-modified chin straps, and may differ from the stock photo. These may have writing in/on them as well. Remember, these are military surplus items, and were around soldiers who had a lot of downtime and ingenuity. Also please allow for slight rust on metal hardware of liner. This usually doesn't affect functionality, but may be present.
