There has been much debate about this particular upgrade of the Soviet SSh-40 helmet by collectors, so I'm simply just going to sell these as "SSH-40/60" helmets. That doesn't mean it's the "proper" designation, but its my way of distinguishing it from the original SSh-40 model with the canvas chin strap.
Now that we've got that out of the way, we'll get down to the actual helmet. It's literally an SSh-40 that has the East German style M56 4-point chinstrap instead of the 2 point canvas chin strap. The liner, besides that, and the shell are 100% exactly the same. These command a slightly lower price now (I don't know why as they weren't made like this for that long) which is good for you, the helmet collector.
Note: These all have storage wear and normal wear that comes with use. That being said, they're all in great shape for their age, and you will love them.
