Here's one that I was going to hang on to, but figured someone else would get much more enjoyment out of it. This is a rare bird, as these helmets were used by Spanish Airborne troops from the 1960s through the 1990s. Spain's Airborne force is only a small number of an already small military. This one was probably part of a small contract sent by the U.S. when the Spanish decided to transition to the M1 style helmet for paratroopers. The liner is U.S, and in rough shape, but the webbing and such is Spanish. A very rare bird indeed, and it's obvious this saw extensive use in its time in service. Actual helmet pictured, please be sure to look carefully as this helmet is far from perfect, but is still an awesome and rare example.
