This is my first run of making UCP-Delta reproduction ACUs. You guys have been asking for a long time (years) if I'd ever get these made, and finally, that answer is YES! Made of a very durable Nylon/Cotton ripstop, these look fantastic and are one heck of a conversation starter. This is your opportunity to grab some of these without having to spend thousands on a super rare original example that you don't want to get dirty. All are 30" Inseam on this run, sorry if you require longer or shorter, I'm working on it...
On this first batch, the details are almost spot-on to originals. The cut is great, with the correct pockets sizes and placement, as well as velcro being the correct shade and size. These have the little square piece of fabric on the left pocket that denoted them as "FRACUS". They have the inner waist drawstring as well as the hidden knee pad pockets with velcro closure.
Where these fall a tad short of being 100%, thus reflected in the price: It's not FRACU fabric like the originals, that fabric is long gone, and SUPER expensive IF you can find it anymore. I couldn't find a place to replicate the size/stock tags (yet), so these will have different tags.
Overall, these are about 98% of the way there, and as far as the "3 foot rule", literally nobody can tell the difference while you're wearing these from originals, unless they physically inspect the uniform and nit-pick minute details, which should not be allowed, as it's YOUR damned UCP-Delta uniform, nobody's going to be able to know except you and me.
NOW. There was a slight miscommunication on the sizing chart between me and the manufacturer, and they used the European size chart and measured differently, so that's why the sizes are a bit off. They are accurate to the uniform, and to your waist size, and are cut just like real FRACUs, but an ACU size Large is not the same as a size large of these. Know your ACTUAL WAIST size (measure around your navel, don't use your jeans size), and you'll be just fine. This is another thing that will be corrected in the future, so bigger guys like me, you're gonna have to wait just a while longer for bigger sizes.
THIS BATCH has a 3-4 Week Lead time, but most likely will ship to you sooner than that. What I have is what I have, and these take MONTHS to get each batch done, so don't miss out. First come, first serve. NOW YOU CAN FINALLY HAVE A SET OF THESE THAT'S JUST LIKE THE ORIGINALS!!!
