Hands down, my favorite SS camouflage pattern is Plane Tree 3/4. Both the Summer (green) and Autumn (brown) sides work great in many areas, and it just looks downright cool. This pattern was used from the late 30s through the end of the war by Waffen SS troops, and members of the Hermann Göring Division. This is the M42 pattern which features built-in pockets on the green side instead of just slits to access the wool uniform.
Smocks were initially meant to be worn over all equipment at the beginning of the war, but as it progressed, soldiers began wearing their gear over this garment. This is a great reproduction, and is made of a cotton duck material, just like the originals. Since these are made to be worn over the wool uniform, make sure to order a size up from your tunic/shirt size to ensure you've got enough room.
NOTE: Currently these are on a pre/back order basis. Please allow for 3-4 weeks for delivery to you after your order is places. It is worth the wait, and I'm hoping to stock these regularly in the near future, but this is how it is right now.
