I hate to let this one go, but part of collecting is making the decision to focus your collection in a narrower scope. I hate to do it, but someone else who has been wanting the real deal (yes, Dragonman reference) can now have an awesome example without having to spend through the roof for an original example.
In my opinion, this one had the front star replaced, as many times they would get caught on crap and the split-pins would pull out or break. This is quite common from what I've seen. The chinstrap is also a field-made one, as a lot of times those would rot off or break as well. Typical Smaller size 1. Besides that, I've enjoyed having this bad-boy in my collection, but I can't justify keeping it when someone else really wants it more than me.
