So this one came to me in a lot a while back, and obviously the liner has seen better days. Used a fair amount, then stored poorly from the looks of it. Re-painted during the Cold War era, so this helmet's been around the block, to say the least. When I got it, the outside was trashed with chipped paint and rust spots, so I chose to have it be a guinea pig for some new paint colors. This is painted the color copied off an original Dutch M27 helmet, so it's about as spot on as you can get for reenacting. Since this isn't a pretty piece, the price reflects that, and it's being sold as a display/reenactor helmet. With some patience and TLC, the liner would clean up just fine and you'd have a perfect helmet for reenacting.
