Yep, I managed to snag a VERY rare bird with this one. Still has the outline of where the original copper badge was brazed to the shell. This means this was absolutely used in WW2, and it most likely one of the original helmets made in the Netherlands in 1938. This was then re-worked duirng the Cold War, but that piece of WW2 stayed with the helmet. Very hard to find these like this.
Helmet will require some TLC if you want to use it for reenacting, but is absolutely original as far as the shell is concerned.
