This is a unique item that I've personally been wearing on an "operator" hat for years daily. Mine was an embroidered Iraq Campaign Medal ribbon, and it's faded and frayed over the years. Recently I was looking for a replacement, but nobody makes them, so I sourced a patch manufacturer, and had some of these made out of 3d PVC with Velcro hook on the back.
This is a subtle yet very cool way of showing that you're a Veteran of either Operation during the GWOT era, without drawing a ton of attention to yourself. I've had a decent amount of people recognize it and thought it was a very cool idea. These can be worn in conjunction with any operator hat I sell, or wherever you choose to get yours from. They're also great on vests, uniforms, or the roof of the cab of a vehicle.
Patches measure about 3 1/2 inches long, by 3/4 of an inch tall, and are durable as hell. These are great not only for veterans, but as a gift for an OIF/OEF veteran in your life.
